Blade Options
This Circa 1408 English Bastard-type Sword was named for the final battle that ended the Percy family's long revolt against King Henry IV of England.  The rebellion involved many knights, lords and barons taking the side of one or the other of the warring parties, and this is the type of sword they would have used in combat. All steel parts with the hilt wrapped in leather, cross-wrapped with leather laces and studs for a better grip. The blade is high carbon steel, diamond in cross-section.  The sword comes with a very nice scabbard that has brass accents on the steel throat and tip.  The blue belt is also included.  The blade is 34" long, 1-7/8" wide, swrod is 43-3/4" overall. Sold unsharpened, but can be sharpened for an additional fee.
